Drywalling!!

The drywalling started on Tuesday! It's been nice to have some time off, though I obviously didn't use it for blogging. Michael had a cake order for the nursing home, and other than that I've just been enjoying some time with my kids and studying my lines for this weekend. This one's going to be tough. I've got 4 dramas. The great part is that I've done them all before. I've found all my props and even purchased some new ones. I'm excited but nervous. I usually just do these for my local church... about 20 or 30 women. I'm afraid this one might be much larger.

But anyway, the gutters went up on the house yesterday and last night we took the kids to a little fair going on at the nursing home. The residents had a nice time, although we had to go inside to see them. It was just too hot and sticky outside. It was nice to forget my anxieties for a while!! We stopped back by the house on the way home. I hadn't seen the gutters. My battery had died at the fair or I would post a pic of the new gutters. I'll have to do that when I get back.

Well, I still have to fix the pool, shower, pack (grrrrr.... I HATE packing), and get out of here in the next 2 hours, but I wanted to get an update here before I left. Pray for me!!
